Anchor Inn
Anchor Inn on Little Sand Lake is a family resort known for its unique
fishing opportunities. Open from May Fishing Opener thru
mid-November, the resort has nine very clean, fully-equipped lake level
cottages with both smoking and non-smoking units available. There are also
four campsites with electricity and water available.
Bowstring Shores Resort
Bowstring Shores Resort is a year-round
resort located on Bowstring Lake with 14 housekeeping cabins that are
"guaranteed clean, attractive and comfortable," and resort amenities like
our heated swimming pool. Located on one of the top walleye fishing
lakes in Minnesota, many guests catch their limit of fish directly from the
160-foot dock. Snowmobilers and ice fishermen find the resort a
perfect base for winter excursions.
Campbell's Lodge

Lodge features 17 new one to five bedroom cabins located on 38 private
wooded acres on a quiet bay of Sand Lake and offers a terrific sandy beach, weekly activities and fantastic

Driftwood Resort
Driftwood Resort
is a secluded and spacious 10-acre resort located on the northwest shore
of beautiful Sand Lake in the Chippewa National Forest. The resort
has six well-kept, clean and modern housekeeping cabins with tremendous
views of the lake. Each of the cabins has two spacious bedrooms and a
cozy, up-north feeling. Enjoy Driftwood's hospitality fishing opener
through hunting season.
Georgene's Haven
Nestled amongst
the trees on the shore of Bowstring Lake are the seven immaculately clean
cabin and five rustic campsites that make up Georgene's Haven. This
secluded resort is open May thru the second week of September -
specializing in family vacations during the summer, and catering to large
groups of anglers during the spring and fall. Under the same
management for 37 years, we welcome guests both new and old to enjoy our
heated swimming pool and northwoods hospitality.
Jessie View Resort & RV Campground
Jessie View Resort & RV Campground is conveniently located on the SW shore
of beautiful Jessie Lake. The resort offers five year-round housekeeping
cabins, 22 full-hookup RV sites and 17 primitive camping sites (some
w/electric). The resort is also ideally suited for family reunions that
require both cabins and camping. Extra amenities include a centralized
recreation building, sandy beach, docks, pontoon, boat access, laundry and
ice house rentals. Partial weeks accepted.
Lakewood Lodge
Experience Great Northwood’s Hospitality at Lakewood Lodge. This quality
Minnesota resort offers you everything you’ll need for a fun-filled family
vacation. Located on a quiet protected bay of Sand Lake, the resort offers
awesome multi-species fishing on one of Northern Minnesota’s finest
walleye fishing lakes. There are eight fully-equipped lake cabins complete
with full amenities; and the resort has a sandy beach, playground, kids
activities and a lodge equipped with everything to fulfill your vacation
needs.
Northern Acres Resort & Campground
This small, family-oriented resort and campground is located on Bowstring
Lake in quiet, and unspoiled surroundings. Part of the fun in
vacationing is to escape the hectic schedules of daily life. So with that
in mind, Northern Acres offers very few planned activities. Instead,
guests enjoy a peaceful Minnesota vacation in one of the five cabins or 30
campsites to choose from. Bowstring Access Restaurant, a new family-style restaurant and pub, is
open year round on-site.
Rocky Shores Resort & Campground
Rocky Shores Resort caters to families that are looking for the
traditional Minnesota vacation. Located on the Northeast shore of
Bowstring Lake, the resort is open year round. It has seven
renovated 2 & 3 bedroom housekeeping cabins, all with decks, and 12
new seasonal RV sites. For those looking for a top quality resort
experience in Northern Minnesota, this is the place!
Snug Harbor Resort & Campground
Snug Harbor Resort and Campground on beautiful Bowstring Lake offers its
guests seven clean lake-level housekeeping cabins, five full hook-up
camping sites and 4 tent sites complete with showers. This
family-oriented resort and campground is open from May 1st thru November
10th and caters to summer and fall anglers. The protected harbor at Snug
Harbor is a guest favorite! |
